Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-09.1 · Effective 2026-10-09

This Privacy Policy explains how BoostMe collects, uses, discloses, safeguards and retains personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, services and related support.

Privacy PolicyTerms of UsePlatform TermsBooster AgreementCookie NoticeCommunity StandardsSafety Disclaimer

Information covered by this policy

  • Account, identity, eligibility and role information
  • Vehicle, service request, location and status information
  • Chat, support, ratings, certification and evidence records
  • Device information, payment references and AI interactions

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, manage requests, match Drivers and Boosters, calculate quotes, process payments, send updates, provide support and maintain service history.

Information may also support safety review, incident handling, fraud prevention, quality assurance, legal compliance, accounting, tax, audit and dispute resolution.

Location and public sharing

Driver location supports service requests and active service. Assigned Booster location may be visible during an active accepted job according to platform controls.

Public Safety Share views follow the Driver’s sharing settings and never include private contact, payment, chat or admin information.

Choices, access and privacy questions

Optional website analytics require your consent. Use Privacy Choices to change that choice. Device location permissions are controlled in your operating-system settings; refusing a permission may limit a feature that needs it. An accepted job must still be resolved through the service workflow.

You may ask Support about access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, withdrawal of consent or a privacy concern. Identity verification may be needed to protect your account. Applicable legal exceptions and retained obligations may limit a request; ask for the reason and available review options.

Contact [email protected] to route a question to the accountable privacy owner. Avoid sending card details, identity documents or precise location in ordinary email; Support can direct you to an appropriate secure channel. You can also raise a privacy concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the authority applicable to your situation.

Payments, providers and safeguards

Payment methods are tokenized by Stripe. BoostMe stores payment references and transaction records, not raw card numbers or security codes. Do not send card details through chat or Support.

Service providers support hosting, messaging, payments and other enabled functions. Their processing locations, access controls and retention must be assessed for the deployed service; this policy does not promise that every copy remains in Canada or is immediately erased.

Account authorization, restricted access and other safeguards help protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security. If a suspected privacy incident affects you, contact Support so it can be investigated and assessed under applicable notification requirements.

Retention and account requests

Users can request access, correction or account deletion through the app or Support. Some transaction, request, payment, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax and audit records may need to be retained.

Complete or resolve current calls and jobs before requesting deletion. A saved deletion request blocks normal account services and public profiles and certificates while it is reviewed. Restricted sign-in may remain available to show request status.

After reviewed fulfillment, account sessions and owned shared links are revoked and eligible profile details are removed. Financial, safety, dispute, support and historical learning records may remain under restricted access. Historical records and original certificate snapshots may still contain personal information; deleting an account is not complete anonymization of those records.

Each data system is reviewed for erasure, justified retention or absence of data. Legal holds and unresolved obligations may delay fulfillment. Retained records are reviewed for their documented purpose and applicable requirements; a review date is not a promised erasure date.

Providers, backups and copies already delivered to recipients follow separate retention and deletion processes. Public certificate links becoming unavailable does not recall downloaded certificates, screenshots or other third-party copies. We do not promise immediate erasure of every copy or a universal retention period.
